Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of the faithful and kindle in us the fire of your love. O God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, instructs the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever rejoice in his consolations, throught Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Lenten Love Projects

Week 1 The hand of love. "Write a letter a day to someone, saying how much you appreciate them. (This is from an old book so I believe an e-mail letter will suffice too)
Week 2 The voice of love," Telephone someone each day to encourage, thank, forgive, or express love.
Week 3 The deed of love". Take a simple gift to two or three people, homemade, child-made, flowers,. etc.
Week 4 The heart of love". Make a list of five people for whom you will pray daily. Include both friends and enemies. Forgive them if they have wronged you. Ask forgiveness if you have wronged them.
Week 5 The mind of love" Use this week to pray for yourself and to look inward. Praise God for God's love whether you find yourself in the heights or in the depths.
Week 6 "The victory of love". This is the week of celebration. Thank God for God's love revealed in many ways. Rejoice that Christ lives. Get outdoors and enjoy the new life in God's creation.

  Enjoy!
