OUTREACH
The Outreach
Committee is responsible for providing and maintaining
effective programs of outreach of the Church and is
concerned with providing for the Church’s mission
to the individual members of the Church family, the
community and to the world.
The committee
is also responsible for providing opportunities for
Church members to be personally involved in showing
Christ’s love to those in need and administering the
outreach budget of the church and respond to special
requests for funds (primarily from organizations).
The committee
fulfills these needs of the Church family by maintaining
awareness of the moral and social issues or practices
of concern to the Christian Church and by keeping
generally informed of the individual needs of the
Church family.
Additional
functions include developing programs and courses
of action believed reasonable and necessary to fulfill
the Church’s obligation with respect to missionary
and benevolent concerns.
