St. Philip's Youth Section

 

 
Youth Sunday
The 4th Sunday each month is designated YOUTH Sunday, to train young saints for ministry in worship. The young people of the parish are responsible for the reading of the lessons, prayers, singing anthems, greeting and ushering duties.
Activities & Calendar
Acolytes Baptized youth, age 6-18. Worship Practice monthly on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays - 10:00 a.m., meet for service 9:45 a.m. Sundays. Contact Durell Smith brigettedurell@msn.com
Cherub Choir - Pre-K through 5th grade. Meets for rehersal monthly the Saturday prior to the 4th Sunday. contact Kendra Way
Teen Choir - 6th grade through 12th grade. Meets for rehersal 2nd & 3rd Sundays following the morning worship. Contact Kristen Baker kristencms@bellsouth.net
The choirs sing monthly at YOUTH Sunday.
Junior Daughters of the King meets monthly the 2nd Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Contact Janet Owens gjowens@bellsouth.com

Episcopal Youth for Christ 6th grade through 12th grade and meets the 4th Sunday following morning worship. Contact Kristen Baker kristencms@bellsouth.net
